I feel not.

Unrelenting images, depravity and desperation have shaped the world I
recognize.>Cynicism has birthed indifference in me.

I dare not touch the flame of compassion should it melt the safe paste of
irrelevance; sinister lie of apathy.

Dear God, set fire to my soul.
Dissolve the sticky wax of hopelessness binding sack cloth and ashes.
Remove the gum from my eyes that through my tears,
I might see the world as You see it.
Ignite my being with Your thoughts that
I might become an agent of change.
